2

Verify Your Identity

The link will take you to SCCU's secure card portal, where you'll complete a quick identity verification step.

3

One-Time Passcode

For your protection, a secure authentication token will be sent using your information on file.

4

Push to Your Wallet

Accept the Digital Wallet Terms and Conditions, then tap the Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay icon on your screen. The system will securely provision your card directly into your phone's wallet with no manual typing required.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I start using my digital card?

For eligible cards, your digital card may be available shortly after approval or card replacement.

Are digital wallets secure?

Digital wallets use tokenization and supported device authentication features designed to help protect your card information.

What happens when my physical card arrives?

Once activated, your physical card and digital wallet remain connected to the same account for continued card access.

I received a text message about my digital card. Is it safe?

Yes. If you recently opened an account or reported a card lost or stolen, SCCU sends a secure SMS to your mobile number on file to give you faster access. SCCU will never ask you to reply with your password, PIN, full card number, or one-time passcode. If you're unsure whether a message is from SCCU, reach out to us at (800) 447-7228 to verify.

My current card expires next month. Can I get a digital card for it?

Standard card expirations keep your existing card number, so digital issuance isn't needed. Your physical replacement card will arrive automatically in the mail before your current card expires, and your existing digital wallet connections will update behind the scenes.

What if my digital card doesn't appear in the SCCU Mobile app?

Not all cards or accounts may be eligible. Reach out to us at (800) 447-7228 for assistance.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Lock your card immediately through Manage Cards on another device and reach out to us at (800) 447-7228. Your digital wallet provider also offers tools to remotely disable your wallet on a lost device.

Can I add my SCCU card to multiple devices?

Yes, in most cases. Adding your card to multiple devices is subject to your digital wallet provider's terms and device limits.
